Let’s feed our subconscious mind thoughts and affirmations in a direction that will have a positive impact on your life while you sleep.
You spend about a third of your life asleep. Wouldn’t it be great knowing that while you were sleeping your subconscious mind was working to your advantage?
Your subconscious is going to chew on something – why not feed it something good?
If you Slept with a Smile, shade-in the 'S' - if not leave it blank.
How many hours pass in the day before you give yourself - some words of encouragement? Do you ever give yourself a pep talk? Or is it drowned out by negative self-talk?
Use your thoughts, your internal dialogue to build your confidence and self-esteem? Your daily thoughts of "Yes I can or No I can't" have a direct impact on your today and tomorrow.
Positive affirmations go back to biblical times. Are you affirming the positive or negatives in your life? What does your internal dialogue sound like? If you sowed some positive thoughts today, shade in the 'T' - if you didn't leave it blank.
You can't get healthy, lose weight or overcome a health problem if you don't eat better! It's that simple!
Foods are like affirmations - they can build you up or tear you down. I’m not trying to count calories, fat grams, or carbs! I’m simply asking, did you nourish your body with healthier foods than unhealthy foods? It doesn’t have to be organic, but highly processed, refined foods and desserts aren’t really healthy. Neither are nibbling on desserts and other treats helpful.
How do you expect to nourish and strengthen your body if the fuel you give it is not that healthy? So, if you ate well for the day shade-in the 'E' If you didn't - leave it blank.
Exercise is different than Eating and Thinking - because it requires a commitment of your time. We’re not trying to make anybody and athlete. But physical exercise helps body and mind.
You don’t have to hire a trainer or join a gym, you can if you want. But for some people exercise could be mowing the yard, walking to work, gardening, playing outside with the kids, etcetera. Physical exercise is literally anything that gets you moving and out of your chair.
I'm not concerned about how long you need to exercise or how intense it needs to be. That is something you need to figure out based on your physical fitness goals. I just want you to get in the habit of getting some physical activity in your day. If you did some Physical exercise, shade-in the 'P' If you didn't - leave it blank.
Working your spiritual muscles is similar to working your physical muscles, you need to carve out some time in your day, because you get out of it, what you put into it! You don’t wake-up one morning with this chiseled body, nor do you wake-up one day with the knowledge and understanding of your spiritual connection.
Not everyone wants to diet and exercise, but it makes you feel a heck of a lot better when you do. The same is true about working your spiritual muscles.
There are a number of ways you can do that, for some it could simply be studying and investigating the subject. For others it may be studying, reading, praying, fellowship or serving.
The goal is to make it a habit. When you do work your spiritual muscles, shade-in the last 'S' – if you didn’t leave it blank.
It’s an easy to follow blueprint that will enable you to track and measure your progress, while making it easier to accomplish what matters most.
The 5 STEPS are straightforward. Simple to understand and digest!
